Proposal Types
Workshop is designed in advance by the host around a certain objective, and participants are organized to share case studies, engage in discussions, or conduct exercises on a certain theme to jointly enhance teaching and SoTL abilities.
Please submit the following information: basic information of the host, workshop topic (no more than 25 words), abstract (no more than 300 words), workshop content, process, participant requirements and other requirements (no more than 1500 words).
Research Report is an oral presentation of research results in a certain aspect of SoTL, which is required to be written according to the research paradigm of SoTL, including questions, methods, analysis, conclusions, and various means to stimulate audience participation on site. The report will last for 30 minutes, including 5-10 minutes of on-site interaction.
Please submit the following information when submitting: basic author information, research report title (no more than 25 words), abstract (no more than 300 words), and content introduction (no more than 1500 words).
Panel is conducted by the host and invited guests to give keynote speeches on a certain topic in SoTL, and to engage in effective discussions and interactive exchanges with the participants. The panel requires the host to submit proposal and invite 2-4 guests to speak and discuss together, with a duration of 60 minutes or 90 minutes.
Please submit the following information: basic information of the host and invited guests, topic of the Panel (no more than 25 words), abstract (no more than 300 words), and introduction of the panel process and content (within 1500 words).
Poster is to showcase specific SoTL research results by the author at a designated time and location, and to interact with the participants. The poster session is scheduled to be 60 minutes.
Please submit the following information: basic author information, poster title (no more than 25 words), abstract (no more than 300 words), and content introduction (no more than 1500 words). Upon the review and acceptance, a poster template will be provided for the author to create their own poster for display.
Research paper is the full text of a SoTL research paper, written according to the research paradigm of teaching academia. Please refer to the attachment for the format specifications of papers in English. The conference will select and publish the full texts of the research papers of the admitted participants, and recommend them to relevant educational and teaching journals.
